Biennale Warszawa with Ukraine

Biennale Warszawa (Poland), an interdisciplinary cultural Organization, in the wake of the attack on Ukraine and wanting to support refugees coming to Warsaw due to the humanitarian crisis, have decided to transform its main venue at Marszłakowska 34/50 into a reception point.

Since 28th of March the place has become a temporary accommodation and living space for more than 150 people. Reception point at Biennale is co-organized together with Ocalenie Foundation that helps refugees and immigrants supporting their integration in Poland and being actively involved into the current crisis.

Workers of both organizations, volunteers, Polish and international institutions and many ordinary people living in Warsaw helped to organize the space by providing mattresses, bedding, equipment, clothes, cleaning products and meals. The team also provided children's activities and helps to organize next trips and transfers for the guests.

You can support our reception point and its needs via Ocalenie Foundation account indicating reception point at Biennale Warszawa in the title. The funds will cover daily needs of our guests like food, bedding, products for children and medical care.
