The Lliure awards each year Creative Exchange Residencies, in the framework of the Grants to the creation Carlota Soldevila. With the pandemic, the proposal in collaboration with The Centre of The Less Good Idea from Johannesburg, to South Africa, to be carried out by the creators Calvin Ratladi and Joan Solé, had to be postponed until this season. Both artists have modified their projects and are now proposing a joint work entitled On són els forats? [Where are the holes? ], which we will try to make available to the public despite the lack of openness.

And this season sees a collaboration with Nowy Teatr in Warsaw (Poland), which will feature the artist Klaudia Hartung with Virgin Mary Performances, an exploration of the figure of the Virgin following the paths of distribution of images and places of worship and devotion. It also includes the actress and artist Paula Blanco, with La ciutat i la por [The city and fear], a project about otherness based on the contrast between silence and noise.
