Projecte Casa

Projecte Casa is a proposal for participatory artistic intervention jointly promoted by the Teatre Lliure and the Institut Municipal de Serveis Socials (IMSS) of the Drets Socials Area, Salut, Cooperació i Comunitat of the Ajuntament de Barcelona, with the Centre Residencial de Primera Acollida for homeless people in Sant Gervasi.

Following the project of Mohamed El Khatib (La vie secrète des vieux) at the Maison Gertrude in Brussels, from 9 to 12 June artists Yohanne Lamoulère (photographer), Bonnefrite (illustrator) and El Khatib himself will work with CPA residents. The result of this intervention will become an exhibition on site, which is able to be visited during this week.

The project is part of contemporary artistic practices with social impact, and with special attention to groups in vulnerable situations, such as those without a home or in situation of residential exclusion, promoting their active participation in cultural creation processes.
