The Teatre Lliure launches with the Master’s Degree in Construction and Representation of Cultural Identities (CRIC) of the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) the seminar A peu d’escenari, conducted by researcher Adriana Nicolau.

This seminar is part of the collaboration that the Teatre Lliure began in Season 21/22 with the UB with the creation of the Teatre Lliure Awards - UB of Contemporary Theatre Studies.

This seminar has been created to deepen the analysis of the stage proposals, the artistic processes of the theatre and the programming model of the Teatre Lliure. Here you will find the story of Anna Gran to portray the reflections and follow its evolution. As we move forward we will be presenting the material derived from this study.

Adriana Nicolau Jiménez holds a PhD in performing arts from the UOC with the thesis Feminismes al teatre català contemporani (2000-2019) (Extraordinary Doctorate Award). On several months she is being developing her research on Catalan theatre and affections as a postdoctoral researcher Margarita Salas at the Universitat de Barcelona (ADHUC Research Centre). She also writes about theatre on platforms such as El Temps de les Arts, Caràcters, Núvol and Red Escénica.
