LIKES is based on analysis of two of the most popular phenomena on YouTube: cover dance and tutorials and videos about different yoga techniques. From a socio-anthropological perspective, the artist gives the audience a talk on the social value of a like in our digital societies.

What role do the body, form, appearance and the images we so often see on the internet play in relation to these likes? What role do these likes, as new symbols of social prestige, play in relation to marketing or commercialisation and, therefore, also indirectly, perhaps also in relation to the body and its image through the internet? When we talk about likes, are we only talking about clicking a button on the internet? Or are we also talking about how we see, observe and value others and what does this depend on?
