Fourth edition of the IT Teatre project of the Institut del Teatre de la Diputació de Barcelona in co-production with the Teatre Lliure. The show resulting from the work with the graduates of performing arts is directed this year by Lucía Miranda, founder of the project The Cross Border and the international collective País Clandestino. A show dedicated to the narrations of Mercè Rodoreda.

Inspired by the brief narrative of Mercè Rodoreda, Miranda starts from the stories for children to reach the fantastic narrative, and proposes a journey through the art of storytelling. Why do we tell stories? When do we stop? Why is it so important how we tell each other our lives? Does the story, like the theater, have its own rite? From the stage, can we grasp the intimate essence of the narrative?

It is the shared will of the Lliure and the Institut del Teatre to give voice and facilitate the passage to professional stages to the graduates of performing arts that integrate the project IT Teatre, offering them the opportunity to interact with artists representing the current European scene.
