Description
Tiago Rodrigues, the current director of the Avignon Festival, is going back to his first text from 2007: a polyphonic piece about a couple and the effects of the passage of time. The show was relaunched at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris and is now coming here in a production by the Lliure featuring Joan Carreras and Marta Marco.
Asking my characters about what they have experienced is like asking myself about what my theatre has undergone since I began to write. Are the characters still in love? That young man that I was who enjoyed writing the piece, does he still have the same need to do theatre? I don’t know if I’m ready to hear the answer, but I can’t avoid asking myself the question.
