Premiered on 1926, the original work by the Bulgarian playwright Ferdinand Bruckner presents a group of young medical students who, during the postexpressionist and nihilistic interwar period, only see a future in death or bourgeois life. The main themes dealt with are suicide and depression, the transition to the adult world and romantic love, capitalism and criminal law on euthanasia and prostitution.

This show seeks to convey that reflection of the young people who ended up embracing fascism to young people in 2021, based on what the text does and does not say. Young people today must not only face generational disillusionment but also the violence of a precarious,  competitive, individualistic and savage world. In this work, six performers aged 20 to 30 construct a project around young people in which suicide or prostitution may be the only answers. An attempt to discover what being young means in a sick system that suffocates those who are struggling to escape from it.
