Celebration

The choreographer and dancer Montse Colomé proposes this show/party as a celebration of 60 years dancing and moving around the performing arts.

Celebration is the space of this creator to share her experiences with the public at her side, and to do it dancing accompanied by him. Because dancing is what he has done most throughout his life.

"I have danced since I was five years old and my professional career has always been very eclectic: I have done more personal work, but I have always worked more on commission, both in the world of dance and in the theatre. In 2015, traveling for work to the Canary Islands, a place where I have always felt at home, I began to consider why not create a solo in which I could talk about identity, maturity, what it means to become older if you have always worked with your body, a body that is transforming. Why not do a solo around my 65th anniversary. It has been 7 years, and I take things, which I want to count, represent and share, with time."
