Three European literary critics arrive in Santa Teresa (Mexico) in their search for an eminent writer whom almost nobody has ever seen. There they discover the story of the more than 700 women who have been killed, or have disappeared, in the last few years. This is just one of the themes in this monumental work by Roberto Bolaño, a stark probing of the depths of human depravity that oscillates between humour and horror and that, in this adaptation by Àlex Rigola and Pablo Ley, was received to great critical acclaim during the Festival de Barcelona Grec 2007.
