Entering the Teatre Lliure via Plaça Margarida Xirgu, left of the box office is the press room, which has ten rows of chairs on each side of a central aisle. On its right-hand side is an interior wall; on the left, the windowed façade that overlooks the square. The room, measuring some 15 x 5 m, is equipped with a long table for presentations and a microphone system adapted for amplification and recording. The room is frequently used for press conferences, talks and conferences.
