The cycle of photography exhibitions at the Teatre Lliure enters in it’s fifth season.
The exhibitions can be visited at the foyer of the Sala Fabià Puigserver on show days. Tuesdays to Saturdays from 6pm to 8.30pm and Sundays from 4pm to 6pm. |

Coinciding with the inauguration of the Season 2007/2008, we expose a sample of the works that participated at the contest to illustrate this program. 17 pictures altogether chosen between the 73 proposals received.

2666 - ciudad juárez àlex rigola
from november the 8th to the 15th
Wile working on the adaptation of the Roberto Bolaño’s novel, Àlex Rigola travels on December 2006 to Ciudad Juarez to catch landscapes, environments and characters of the city that inspired the 2666’s Santa Teresa.

identities sara córdoba
from the december 18th of february to the 16th
Sara Córdoba (Múrcia, 1976) is graduated in Communication Audiovisual and studied at the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya. Identities is a collection of portraits of women that the author wills to give us a personal study and bring a contemporary document about the today woman, historical moment in which her role is being redefined socially, economically, politically and culturally.

real landscapes of fiction ariadna papió
from february the 27th to april the 27th
Ariadna Papió Carrasco (Barcelona, 1969) has a training in fashion and costume for cinema and theater, and studied photography at the International Center of Photography of Nova York and cinematography at the Film/Video Arts School of the same city. Real landscapes of the fiction adds to a series of photographs taken in different places all around the world that show a transforming landscape in which you can find the past and the future altogether because you see in them the changing process of the present.

underclass workers david coll blanco - bilderberg
from may the 3rd to july the 31st
David Coll Blanco (Barcelona, 1974) studied at the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya. After finishing his training and working as a studio assistant, in 1996 decides to travel to India and do a documentary with a deep research. Underclass workers is a portrait of the unemployed workers in Tokyo. During the second half of the 20th century, the Japanese economy grew thanks to the workers that came to the big city from different places of Japan in search of a decent job.
